I grew up right here in Bellevue and went to Newport High School.
I then graduated from the University of the Pacific in CA in 2001
with a degree in accounting. After working in an accounting firm in
Cupertino, CA for a few years I moved back to Washington and got a
degree in MBA from the City University of Seattle in Bellevue.
I am in dentistry because of Dr. Chen! I love meeting new
patients and I always enjoy helping them with their scheduling and
administrative needs. It is truly an honor to be able to assist many
people while at the same time making new friends.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my kids and reading.
I also enjoy cooking and watching movies while I have time.

I am a graduate of Renton Technical College, and have been a part of Dr. Chen's team since August of 2010. In my free time I enjoy running, getting pedicures with my mom, shopping, traveling to new places, sight-seeing, playing with my dog Lilly and spending time with my friends and family. I first found my passion for dental assisting at a young age. I always enjoyed visits to the Dentist. In high school I was able to attend a dental assisting course at Puget Sound Skills Center, this is where I decided that I wanted to provide others with the same level of care I had received when I was younger. I understand the importance of oral hygiene and want to help others form good habits so they too can enjoy a healthy happy smile.

I graduated in July of 2011 from Renton technical College and started
my career at Advanced Dentistry Northwest, with Dr. Chen and his team in September. In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, dancing, cooking, spending time with my niece and nephew, and hanging out with friends and family. Ever since I was young I have always noticed people’s smiles first when meeting them for the first time. I have always enjoyed helping others and making people feel comfortable. I have always loved going to the dentist and noticed how comfortable and fun of an experience the staff would make it to be. Ever since then I have wanted to create the same experience for others, therefore bringing me to dentistry.

I grew up in Western Washington and moved across the state to
attend college. I studied at Eastern Washington University and
graduated from Columbia Basin College in 2010. I moved back after
graduation to be closer to my family, and joined Dr. Chen’s hygiene team in early 2011
I chose dentistry to work in a constantly evolving field and to
teach prevention. My philosophy is to help every patient achieve a
state of optimal oral health through education and proper treatment;
with a goal to create a professional and trusting environment with
open communication. Each and every patient is different, I believe
it is important to understand their goals in order to create an
appropriate plan to help improve their overall health and well
being.
In my spare time I enjoy attending concerts, watching movies,
fishing, camping, Frisbee golf and reading mystery novels.

I am originally from the beautiful island of Guam. In 2005, I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Guam. My passion for helping others and desire to promote health and wellness inspired me to change my career field and pursue dental hygiene. I moved to Washington in 2008 and graduated with honors from Columbia Basin College in 2011. Right after graduation I joined Dr. Chen’s hygiene team. I thrive on learning, and in my quest to bring my patients the best dental care, I continue to pursue continuing education courses to enrich my knowledge and improve my skills.
I am dedicated to providing excellent care and believe the scope of my profession goes beyond cleaning teeth. I feel it is also about establishing trusting relationships, educating and empowering patients to value their oral health to improve their overall quality of life.
During my spare time I enjoy working out, hiking, snowboarding and being a foodie with my husband, Johnny.
